Capilan University and Educational Technology

Capilano University faculty want to know what their students think of the educational technology used in courses. Your instructors may have Moodle sites with a variety of content, websites, blogs and Facebook pages. You have access to textbook websites with sample tests and a huge array of content websites and Youtubes on any subject. You may also use technology (e-mail, Google docs, wikis, Facebook etc) to connect with other students and do course work. Please answer the following questions to share your feedback. This survey is optional but we appreciate your participation.

Thinking of the technology available in courses you are taking or have taken (here at Capilano University and elsewhere) what has been useful to you and helped you learn?
Have you done a student project incorporating technology that was valuable?
Course Moodles have many capabilities that are not always used - discussion forums, the ability for on-line group work, etc. Newer technologies such as the use of avatars online in virtual environments are being developed and improved on. What COULD your instructors be doing in their use of educational technology that might be helpful to you?
Have you/will you take an fully on-line university course? Why/why not? What has your expereince been with on-line courses?
